The final American event of the VGC 2016 season was held as 396 players traveled to compete at the 2016 U.S. Nationals in Columbus, Ohio on July 1-3, 2016! Players battled through 9 Swiss Rounds where those who finished with two or fewer losses advanced to Day 2. Players on Day 2 battled through 6 additional Swiss Rounds where those who finished with two or fewer losses advanced to a single-elimination bracket to determine the winner!
The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) was in Columbus to broadcast the event with Ray Rizzo, Duy Ha, Evan Latt, and Aaron Zheng providing live commentary of the action!
