The 1st event of the 2022 Taiwan Regional League, the official circuit for Taiwanese players, took place on November 7, 2021 as 149 Masters Division players traveled to Kaohsiung, Taiwan to compete! The major prize for top-performing players included round byes at the upcoming Taiwan Nationals! Top 4 players earned round 1 byes while both finalists earned round 2 byes at Taiwan Nationals.
This tournament was streamed by the Pokémon Company in Taiwan with Eason and Chen Wu providing live commentary of the action and Shinn managing the interviews. Check out the streamed matches here!
