Pokémon VGC 2022 Europe International Championships

The third VGC 2022 Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield International Championship and the first played in Series 12 took place this weekend as 289 players traveled to compete at the 2025 Europe International Championships in Frankfurt, Germany on April 22-24, 2022! Players battled through 9 Swiss Rounds on Day 1 where those who finished with two or fewer losses advanced to Day Two. Players on Day Two played through 5 additional Swiss Rounds where the top 8 players advanced to a single-elimination bracket to determine the winner!

The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) was in Frankfurt to broadcast this event with Adam Dorricott, Lee Provost, Labhaoisa Akcos-Cromie, and Rosemary Kelley as casters.
