Pokémon VGC 2023 Bochum Regional

The first European VGC 2023 Series 2 Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Regional Championship was held as 573 players traveled to compete at the Bochum, Germany Regionals on February 25-26, 2023! The first Regional played under a new tournament structure, players battled through 9 Swiss Rounds on Day 1 with players who won at least 7 rounds advancing to Day 2. Players on Day Two played 5 additional matches to determine the top 8 players who advanced to a single-elimination bracket to determine the winner!

While many Regionals have been held in Germany before, this will be the second time players travel to Bochum Regionals after the 2020 Bochum Regionals won by Spanish player Guillermo Castilla.
