The seventh North American Pokémon VGC 2023 Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Regional and the second held in the Regulation C format was held as 469 players traveled to compete at the 2023 Portland, Oregon Regional on May 6-7, 2023! Players battled through 9 Swiss Rounds where those who finished with two or fewer losses advanced to Day Two. Players on Day Two battled through 5 additional Swiss Rounds where the top 8 players advanced to a single-elimination bracket to determine the winner!
The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) was in Portland to broadcast this event with Aaron Zheng, Rosemary Kelley, Joe Brown, Sierra Hunter, and Adam Dorricott as casters.
