Pokémon VGC 2025 Lima Special

The first VGC 2025 Latin American Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Special and the first played in the Regulation H format was held as 109 players traveled to compete at the 2025 Lima, Peru Special on October 5-6, 2024! Players battled through 6 Swiss Rounds on Day 1 where those who finished with two or fewer losses advanced to Day Two. Players on Day Two played through 2 additional Swiss Rounds where those with the same record as the 8th seed advanced to a single-elimination bracket to determine the winner! In addition, Regional Champions earn an invite to the 2025 World Championships.

Play Latam was in Lima to broadcast this event on their YouTube channel with Rennatto Carcheri, Carlos Chávez, and Kato as casters.
