Pokémon VGC 2025 Seville Special

The first VGC 2025 European Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Special Championship and the first played in the Regulation G format was held as 467 players traveled to compete at the 2025 Seville, Spain Special on April 26-27, 2025! Players battled through 8 Swiss Rounds on Day 1 where those who finished with two or fewer losses advanced to Day Two. Players on Day Two played through 2 additional Swiss Rounds where those with the same record as the 8th seed advanced to a single-elimination bracket to determine the winner! In addition, Special Champions earn an invite to the 2025 World Championships.

The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) was in Seville to broadcast this event with Charlie Merriman, Kosta Daidimos, Markus Hamann, and Zoe Lou as casters.
